Pond 4 Dyer, IN

This meandering, multiple natural slope stream setting has seven drops, covering an approximate 150 ft. length of wooded front yard natural preserve sanctuary.  It was built with shallow streams for visibility and to accommodate removal of fall leaves from the Oaks and Hickory’s.  This year’s wildlife has included deer, fox, coyote, a pesky raccoon family of six, squirrel and chipmunks.  Birds are abundant and include among others Herron, Wood Duck, Hawks, Carolina Wren, and even Rose Breasted Grosbeak.  The perennial flowering transitions are a delight while walking the natural stone pathway.
